Management Committee

The Management Committee of BACO-UK is entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring the effective administration and coordination of the organisation’s day-to-day operations. This committee plays a pivotal role in implementing strategic initiatives and delivering services that align with BACO-UK’s mission, vision, and values.

Core areas of Oversight

The Management Committee provides leadership and oversight across the following functional areas:

  • Media & Communication Managing internal and external communications, public relations, and digital engagement.
  • Culture & Research Preserving cultural heritage and conducting research to inform community development.
  • Health & Wellbeing Promoting physical and mental health initiatives within the community.
  • Events Coordination Planning and executing events that foster unity and engagement.
  • Mobilisation & Engagement Driving community participation and outreach activities.
  • Business & Employment Supporting career development, job opportunities, and skills enhancement.
  • Children & Families Supports children & families by signposting them for the available government services, providing professional guidance, mentoring and bonding activities, advocating for their rights, and promoting positive parenting skills, to strengthen relationships, improve well-being and development.
  • Youth Empowerment Coordinating young people and empowering them through targeted educational and sports programmes.

Leadership and Governance

The Management Committee operates under the strategic leadership of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, ensuring that all programmes and activities comply with organisational policies and contribute to BACO-UK’s long-term objectives.
